Collective Worship
As a church school we are committed to providing a daily collective act of worship which is relevant, inclusive and which provides students with the opportunity to reflect. This takes place within the daily tutor time. This year our collective worship is built around six main themes and six sub-themes to reflect our approach to Equality and Diversity. These are as follows:
Autumn Term 🍂
| First Half | Second Half |
| Main Theme: Hope | Main Theme: school mission |
| Sub-Theme: Inclusion | Sub-Theme: Religion / Belief |
Spring Term 🌼
| First Half | Second Half |
| Main Theme: Wisdom | Main Theme: Community |
| Sub-Theme: Environment | Sub-Theme: Disability |
Summer Term ☀️
| First Half | Second Half |
| Main Theme: Dignity | Main Theme: Vision Statement |
| Sub-Theme: Gender | Sub-Theme: Culture |
Assemblies are held weekly, led by members of the Senior Leadership Team, Year Leaders, Students, the Chaplain and invited guests. All students are expected to attend collective worship whether being delivered in tutor bases or in the hall or in any other forum.
