Medical Information

Medication in School:

Paracetamol can be administered for minor aliments during the day. If this is before 12pm, a phone call home will be required to gain verbal parental permission. Please note only one dose is permitted to be administered during the school day. If Ibuprofen is required, a phone call home to gain verbal parental permission will now be required at all times.

Antihistamines will no longer be given for Hay fever as per West Sussex County Council regulations, please ensure if your child requires Antihistamines for Hay fever, they are given this before school.

If your child needs any other medication, this must be prescribed by a GP, be in its original packaging and include the Patient Information Leaflet and the consent forms completed and returned to First Aid.
