2nd & 3rd July 2026

On 2nd and 3rd July, students across the school took part in a fantastic range of Cultural Capital, Curriculum Enhancement and Enrichment activities. From exciting off-site visits to engaging experiences on school grounds, students had the opportunity to broaden their horizons, develop new skills and create lasting memories.

Our Year 7–9 students enjoyed a variety of cultural experiences, including a visit to the SEA LIFE Centre for Year 7 and the London Dungeons for Year 9, while Year 8 students enjoyed an action-packed residential experience at Deer’s Leap. Students embraced every opportunity, demonstrating enthusiasm, teamwork and a willingness to step outside their comfort zones.

Year 10 students enjoyed a diverse programme of on-site and off-site activities as part of their Curriculum Enhancement Days, providing opportunities to explore new interests and develop skills beyond the classroom.

Our Sixth Form students also enjoyed a range of experiences across the two days. Year 12 Religious Studies students had the opportunity to visit St Paul’s Cathedral, exploring one of Britain’s most iconic places of worship and deepening their understanding through a memorable experience in the heart of London.

The programme continued with Next Steps Day onsite, where Year 12 students reflected on their future aspirations. The day began with an assembly centred on hope and optimism, encouraging students to challenge misconceptions about the world and recognise the positive changes society has experienced over recent decades. The message was clear: the future is bright for those who approach it with hope and ambition.

Across all year groups, these experiences provided valuable opportunities for students to learn, explore, challenge themselves and make memories together. ✨
