Year 10 Onsite Work Experience launched on Tuesday 9^th June in partnership with SOS Systems, and concluded Thursday 11^th June. What an amazing few days! Work Readiness was the over arching aim of this careers event, and Year 10 did us proud with Project Pitch, a new initiative from the Careers & Enterprise Hub. SOS Systems had this to say:

We all came away from Project Pitch feeling incredibly inspired by the students, staff and the atmosphere throughout the school.

We had an amazing time and were genuinely blown away by everyone involved. It was a privilege to spend time with Year 10 and see first-hand the creativity, confidence and determination they brought to the challenge. What stood out most was the real potential we saw in every young person we met. Each student demonstrated their own individual strengths, whether that was leadership, communication, problem-solving, teamwork or presentation skills, and it was fantastic to watch that develop over the days.

 The enthusiasm and engagement from the students made the experience just as rewarding for our team as we hope it was for them.  We have no doubt that many of them have bright futures ahead!  (We will be talking about GARY the bin for a long time to come! He has definitely secured a place in the SOS story book.)
