Y11 Celebration Assembly🎉

At the end of Spring term, we held our last Year 11 Celebration Assembly as we will
miss the next one as the exam season will already be upon us!

This special event gave us the opportunity to recognise and celebrate the hard work,
resilience, and achievements of our students since September. Highlights of the
assembly included the presentation of the House Trophy which was won by York, as
well as the exciting awarding of five free prom tickets to students who were randomly
selected from a draw. These students had all demonstrated commitment by attending
an important week dedicated to feedback and improvement.

We also recognised our top three achieving students since September, celebrating
their consistent dedication and excellent progress. They are pictured alongside our
Pastoral Behaviour Support Manager, Mr Watson.

As part of the assembly, our tutors contributed to a special video, sharing their advice
on how to approach GCSEs, along with reflections on what they wish they had known
at the age of 16. This was shared with our Class of 2026 and provided both practical
guidance and encouragement as students prepare for the challenges ahead.
We are incredibly proud of all our Year 11 students and the effort they have shown
throughout the year. As they now prepare for their upcoming exams, we wish them
every success and encourage them to continue applying the same determination and
focus they have demonstrated so far.

Kind regards
Mr Simpson-Smith
