Nigel Stalley

Chair of Governors

In 2017, when I retired from teaching, I was appointed by the Diocesan Board of Education to the Governing body at Holy Trinity School. I had spent over thirty years teaching in a Secondary Ecumenical Church School, where I was also a staff governor for many years. During my time on the Governing body of Holy Trinity, I have chaired the Finance committee and been a member of the Outcomes committee. In 2025 I was elected Chair of the Governors. I am very keen to see Holy Trinity School continue to develop to be a centre of excellence for learning and where all students can fulfil their potential. I am excited that the school will be moving into new buildings, which I know will greatly enhance the experience of being at school for all our students.

I am an active member of St. Mary’s Church in Horsham, where my wife and I have been attending for over 25 years. During my free time I enjoy doing DIY tasks, gardening or going out walking in our beautiful countryside with family and friends.

In 2011 Chrissie moved to Ashford in Kent to join The John Wallis Church of England Academy as Vice Principal (Pastoral) and in December 2015 was thrilled to be appointed Headteacher of Holy Trinity school. Chrissie considers herself to be enormously privileged to have the amazing role of leading Holy Trinity. In her spare time Chrissie loves to spend time with family, travelling and football.
