HTS was delighted to host the SACRE (Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education) Roadshow yesterday in our refectory. This event, open to RE teachers from schools across West Sussex, provided a valuable opportunity for subject leaders to connect with representatives of world faiths and access resources to enrich the teaching of this important subject.

The Roadshow featured 16 diverse stands, representing a wide range of beliefs including Christianity (across several denominations), Islam, Sikhism, Judaism, Hinduism, Quakerism, and Humanism.

Several HTS RPE classes attended during their lessons and engaged brilliantly with the exhibitors—asking thoughtful questions and exploring why learning about religion matters in today’s world.

Exhibitors were highly impressed by our students’ confidence, curiosity, and the depth of their questions.
