Year 11 Geographers Brighton Beach Trip 🏖️

Yesterday our Year 11 Geographers went down to Brighton beach to complete their GCSE fieldwork. During the course of the day they engaged with 6 different methods of data collection, from measuring the size of sediment (always a fun activity, students found some excellent rocks!), to measuring the strength of Longshore Drift by throwing an apple into the sea. Students were really engaged and worked super hard, and some of us even did the Longshore Drift Line dance along the beach!

I am very proud of how well everyone worked, well done year 11!
