A Warm Welcome: Year 7 Breakfast at HTS
A Warm Welcome: Year 7 Breakfast at HTS 🥞🍳☕️

There’s something special about the first day of secondary school — a mix of nerves, excitement, and fresh beginnings. At HTS, we wanted to make sure our new Year 7 students (and their families) felt welcomed and supported right from the start. So, on the first morning of term, we hosted a Year 7 Welcome Breakfast — and what a lovely morning it was.
Held in the school refectory, the breakfast brought together students, parents, carers, and staff in a relaxed and friendly setting. There were plenty of fresh pastries and fruit to go around, and even more importantly, and opportunity for parents, student and key members of staff to get to know each other.
As a Church of England school, we really value belonging and partnership— and this event was a true reflection of that. Staff had the chance to chat with families, answer questions, and offer some friendly reassurance.
The atmosphere was calm and positive, with excited students and smiling faces all around — a great way to start to their time at HTS.
We were thrilled with the turnout and A big thank you to everyone who joined us together, we’ve set the tone for a positive and confident start to life at HTS!
Many thanks,
