Uniform and ID Cards

2023/24 Admissions

Please be advised that from the start of the Summer Term - April 2023 - Students will be required to wear their school uniform every day. On days that they have PE, they will need to bring their PE kit in separately and use the changing rooms before and after their PE lesson.

Holy Trinity School Uniform and PE Kit Guidance

All colours mentioned are plain and un-patterned.

The only logo accepted on any item is the Holy Trinity crest.

Holy Trinity branded items can be purchased from Trutex Direct or Broadbridges
Ties (£6) and Blazer pocket badges (£4) can be bought from the school.

Optional items, if worn, must be as stipulated.

All items of clothing must be clearly marked with the student’s name

Uniform

Top Coat

(Optional) Cagoule, anorak, raincoat or coat, to be worn over the blazer.  Hoodies and denim jackets are not acceptable. No motif allowed.

Navy blue with embroidered school crest on pocket.   

Shirt   

Plain white formal

Tie   

School crested with house colour banding   

Skirt   

Grey pleated school skirt 

Trousers   

Mid-grey trousers   

Pullover   

(Optional) Navy blue V-neck. Must be worn in addition to and not instead of the school blazer   

Jewellery

Students are prohibited from wearing all jewellery except a plain wristwatch and one small pair of studs in the ear lobes

No facial jewellery is permitted, clear spacers only in place

Hair

Hair must be a natural colour only. No unnatural hair colours are permitted.

No lines or shaved patterns, no unnatural coloured streaks, or haircuts shorter than a number 2.

Long hair must be tied back during practical lessons.

Headwear  

Students may choose to wear the hijab and other religious head coverings. These must be plain black or navy blue with no decoration or fringing. In the summer months of June and July, the headwear can be white. To allow us to identify students whilst on the school site, the face must not be covered. 

Head wraps and scarves can be worn by those with Afro textured hair but must be plain black or navy, or white in the summer months of June and July

Navy, black or natural colour – no leggings

A sturdy school bag - rucksack style, sports bag or shoulder bag

NOTES

SUMMER TERM ONLY - Normal uniform is to be worn to school. After morning assembly pupils may be allowed to remove their blazers. A pullover may not be worn without a blazer at any time.
SEVERE WEATHER – During severe weather conditions pupils may dress appropriately over their uniform in order to keep warm and dry whilst travelling to and from school. Normal school uniform, however, must be worn at school during the school day.

Students arriving in non-standard footwear will need to swap for school issue shoes and may swap back at the end of the day.

IDENTITY CARDS

Here at Holy Trinity every member of the school community is issued  with a unique photo ID card when they join us.

These cards are used for access to the school site, security and identification. Students & Staff are required to carry their ID cards at ALL times.

If a card is lost, misplaced or damaged it must be replaced immediately. New ID cards can be ordered on your child’s SCOPAY account for £3. Once a payment is made, the new card will be created and handed to your child’s tutor to be passed to your child within 2 school days. If you have paid for a replacement card and your child is yet to receive it, please follow up with their tutor first.(Replacement ties and blazer badges can also be ordered in the same way.)
