The Holy Trinity Church of England Secondary School

Headteacher’s Welcome

I am delighted to welcome you to The Holy Trinity Church of England Secondary School, one of only two co-educational voluntary aided Church of England Secondary Schools in West Sussex.  We have a rich history dating back over 50 years and a reputation for excellence.  Today we are an oversubscribed and vibrant multi-faith, multi-cultural 11 to 18 school, serving three deaneries and the community of Crawley.

Our past, present and future success is rooted firmly in our Christian ethos.  It is my deeply held belief that every human being is a child of God, created in His image, blessed with unique gifts and talents, and therefore precious and valued.  As a school we seek to nurture these gifts and talents in each other, so that we may all flourish and fulfil our full potential in every aspect of our lives.

Our four ‘Underpinning Elements’ enshrine our core beliefs and run through all that we do:

  • Dignity – our core belief in the ultimate worth of every single human being – both within the school community and beyond
  • Community – once we have understood our own value as human beings we go on to express this value through the quality of the relationships we share with each other.  Community – living well together – is often the first word used by students and staff to describe Holy Trinity
  • Wisdom – we seek to foster confidence, delight and discipline in seeking wisdom, knowledge and truth through all aspects of our curriculum and school life
  • Hope – as we prepare our students for the future we look to open up horizons of hope and aspiration for them and through them for the world

This website holds a range of information, no matter what your interest is in our school.  If you are interested in your child joining the school or joining us as a Sixth Form student then there is a range of information under admissions and in the prospectus.  If you are interested in joining us as a member of staff, then the vacancies section has what you need.  Current students and staff can access emails, calendars and Citrix through the Student Portal or Staff Portal.  Parents can also access the Parentmail login by clicking on the Parents tab at the top of our home page.

We are very proud of our school – it’s ethos, the all-round high standards and our strong emphasis on the support of every individual so that they can flourish. We believe young people deserve the best education possible and values that prepare them for the future. We are committed to providing both.  I believe that Holy Trinity is a very special place to be and I feel privileged to lead this school. I am immensely proud of our students, our dedicated staff and the supportive governors and parents who together make up this community.  Please feel free to arrange a visit to the school or to contact us for further information.
